Village Cleaners began in 1956 by Chris and Gloria Kitches with the mission to provide drycleaning and laundry with “unequaled quality and service”. Operating in its third generation under President Dave Kitches, this philosophy remains the same today. Village Cleaners has been awarded the “Award of Excellence” and is also a Certified Professional Dry Cleaner- two accolades awarded from the Dry Cleaning and Laundry Institute for demonstrating the highest levels of professional expertise, cleaning quality, and customer service. We take pride in our newest green cleaning equipment, enabling Village Cleaners to be a Certified Environmental Dry Cleaner —an award granted by the Dry Cleaning and Laundry Institute (an international trade association and garment care organization). We use Sensene, the industry’s best green cleaning technology, as our cleaning solvent. We are also proud to share that the packaging materials we use are 100% recycled, and our plastic garment bags are 100% biodegradable. Hangers returned to us are not thrown away; instead, they are recycled for our coin laundromats to provide convenience for our customers.
